Yes, it's true!
I am pretty excited about this as...this is where I went on a weekly basis back in the early 90s, and besides Communion at the Limelight, I truly remember it as being one of the BEST goth parties EVER!!!

Met with Yutaro today - he is so fantastic! Nice to talk to, sexy as hell, and beyond talented. My appointment for him to do my 5th tattoo (and fix up #4 a bit) is on Sunday, August 24th at 5:30pm. Expect pictures the day after!
After that, we will begin designing and planning my upper-arm sleeves. :O

In one day last week I was at the court house, the DMV, and the airport. So many sub catagories of people can get ones head spinning. All I could asses from being in so many melting pots in one day was that we are fat, stressed out, shitty people. We're totally fucked. I wrote at least three pages on it, but that's for another time.
I like the court house the best simply because you have babies mamas and all my favorite trash standing around mixed in with lawers in suits who do nothing but steal sideways glances at the common folk - reassuring themselves that they are indeed better living specimens on this earth.
Being out of town was kind of nice. It was a test of my will at times and I am sorry I missed what I did at home. For the first time in awhile I laughed hard with my father and my sister. I did cartwheels like I haven't in years. We played a lot of games. I forget I have so much family and now a lot of my older cousins are having kids too.There were over 40 people at our house 4th of July whom I was related to in some way, and that wasn't even all of them.
Its hard calling Tampa home right now. I feel so disconnected with everyone and everything about it. I am not really dedicated to anything right now, nor is it dedicated to me. I feel that if I simply dissapeared, I would not be missed. I think I do this to myself though. I put more than an arms length between me and almost anything I encounter.
I haven't written a song in a really long time. I need a change and I need to be taught a lesson.

Question for everyone --
Do you think "paying it forward" can include friends/acquaintances, or only total strangers?
It just popped into my mind, because in the websites I've seen, they seem to focus upon strangers. But IMO, it's just as important to pay it forward to people you know, maybe even more so because you often have a bit more insight into what they might need or want. For example, I knew someone who was going through some personal issues; amidst them, I knew she planned to seek work, and thus was badly in need of new work clothes. So I surprised her with a gift card. When I was going through some health and work issues a few years back, I was pleasantly surprised by the aid of acquaintances I would never have expected anything from, and I guess I just wanted to do the same for somebody else. Maybe one day when she's more on her feet, the person I just gave something to can do it for yet another person, and thus the chain continues.
Obviously, she knew that it WAS me...and one of the things about paying it forward seems to be anonymity. But I still think that these kinds of things are just as valid as acts of giving. I mean, I certainly didn't need to give this person anything, and certainly nothing was expected of me. I just wanted to cheer her up a bit, as well as give her a little help toward her goals.
Regardless of what the "true definition" is, I'm still going to keep doing things wherever I see the need or an opportunity. But I just wanted to know what you guys thought on the subject...
